Light precipitation is expected to develop east of the Smoky Mountains overnight, and there is a chance that it could move westward over far east Tennessee. If this does happen there is a slight chance for some light rain and patchy freezing drizzle to occur. If freezing drizzle does occur it could lead to some slick spots developing on area roads.
