Samantha Kozsey anchors News 5 Early Today, News 5 Today and News 5 at Noon. Samantha brings 15 years broadcast journalism experience to the WCYB team.

After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia, she started her career in Bluefield, West Virginia at WVVA. Over the next decade, she worked in St. Louis, Missouri and Washington, DC, as well as at television stations in Charleston and Huntington, West Virginia.

She also spent several years on the other side of the camera doing public relations.

After relocating to southwest Virginia four years ago, Samantha feels like she's coming home. She says working for WCYB, so close to where her career started, is a dream come true. Anchoring and reporting the news has been a goal of hers since she was a child.

Samantha and her husband Bill have three children and a dog named Frannie.
