WCYB Sports Director Jordan Conigliaro joined the News 5 Sports Team from WVVA-TV in Bluefield, West Virginia.

A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Jordan is a graduate of Shippensburg University. While in college, Jordan worked for the university television station and newspaper, and also interned for TV stations in Harrisburg and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In addition, he covered sports for the Carlisle Sentinel during his senior year at Shippensburg.

After graduation, Jordan worked for WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for a year before joining WVVA-TV in Bluefield as a sports anchor and reporter.

He joined the News 5 Sports Team in June, 2008. He's been nominated for two Regional Emmy awards.

And, yes, baseball fans, Jordan is a member of that Conigliaro sports family; the former Red Sox outfielder, Tony Conigliaro, is a cousin.
