Georgia freshman linebacker Davin Bellamy was arrested and charged with DUI and speeding Saturday morning, Dawgs247.com reported.

Bellamy was arrested at about 5 a.m. and released at 6:22 a.m. after posting a $2,000 bond, according to Athens-Clark County police records. He was charged with misdemeanors.

Per the school's athletics policy, Bellamy faces at least a two-game suspension.

Bellamy was not expected to start for the Bulldogs this season, but contribute off the bench at outside linebacker.

Bellamy is the second Georgia defensive player arrested this week. Defensive tackle Jonathan Taylor was dismissed from the team following his arrest for felony assault last Tuesday.
