The Tennessee Titans have finalized their deal with guard Andy Levitre, the first player they agreed to terms with to kick off free agency.
The Titans announced the deal Wednesday shortly before a news conference to introduce their newly signed free agents. Levitre reportedly received a six-year, $46.5 million deal.
General manager Ruston Webster said in a statement that Levitre immediately fills a need and will plug in at left guard for the Titans. Webster calls Levitre a smart athletic player good at pass protection and run blocking.
Levitre is one of only three offensive linemen drafted in 2009 to start every game since coming into the NFL with 64 starts at Buffalo.
The Titans earlier announced they also have deals with running back Shonn Greene and fullback Quinn Johnson.
