American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Delivers Meals to Homebound



Members of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Bristol, Tennessee were up early this morning to prepare hot meals for delivery.  This is an annual effort for the American Legion.  The goal is to make sure people who are homebound do not go without on this holiday.

"We found out the Slater Center that does the homebound meals does not deliver on the holidays and we felt like that was a shame that our folks that get meals delivered during the week didn't have it and that's why we started it at Thanksgiving," said Ladies Auxiliary President Debbie Sorrell.

Nearly 150 hot meals were made and delivered from the Legion today.
