Nashville Judge Rules Guns In Bars Law Unconstitutional.

A Nashville judge has ruled the law that allows those with handgun permits to have their guns in places that serve alcohol is unconstitutional.

The law was enacted earlier this year by an override of Governor Phil Bredesen's veto.

A chancellor ruled that the law is quote "fraught with ambiguity."

The law allowed those with handgun carry permits to carry their guns into restaurants that serve alcohol.

The measure went into effect in July.

37 states had similar legislation at the time.

It's not clear if another appeal is planned by those supporting the guns in bars law.
