For the last few days, people have been lining up at the Haven of Rest in Bristol, Tennessee as they wait to get Thanksgiving meals. In the first two days, Haven of Rest passed out more than 300 bags. The bags include all of the fixings for a Thanksgiving Day dinner.
The Haven of Rest schedules up to eight days to pass out food but usually it's gone in the first three days. "There's a lot more people out there than you realize but probably this year more than last won't have the money to purchase a thanksgiving dinner," said Haven of Rest's Mike Oliver.
Thanksgiving dinner bags can be picked up Thursday, November 19 from 1p.m. to 3p.m. -- as long as supplies last.
