Join CSX, Food City, and the Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce as they come together for Santa's Workshop TONIGHT to sort and pack holiday gifts for the Santa Train. Volunteers must be age 16 or older.
DRESS:
Comfortable work clothing that is suitable for an outside workshop (hat & gloves suggested).

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING:
From Interstate 81 take Exit 74B for US-11 S toward Kingsport. Merge onto E. Stone Dr/TN-1//US-11W. Continue to follow E. Stone Dr/TN-1/US-11W for 15.3 miles. Turn left at N. Eastman Rd.; 1205 N. Eastman Rd. is 1.4 miles on the left.
Since 1943, the Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce, CSX Transportation (and its predecessors) and Food City have co-sponsored the Santa Train. The annual 110-mile rail "Christmas Parade" from Shelby, Kentucky to Kingsport, Tennessee, is an Appalachian tradition that ushers in the holiday season in the region. Supported by many contributors, more than 15 tons of toys, food and other gifts are tossed by Santa and friends to generations of followers.
