GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Five people were injured when a pickup truck crashed into a Waffle House restaurant in Greeneville.
Two occupants of the truck and three customers inside the restaurant went to the hospital following the Wednesday morning crash.
Greeneville police officer David Lewis said a security camera showed the truck pulling into a parking space, but then it did not stop.
The truck smashed through the restaurant's exterior wall and into the restaurant.
Renee Freeman, of Johnson City, says she and her friends were walking to their table when Freeman heard what she described as a "blast" and was pushed forward.
