Funeral services will begin tonight for a local soldier killed in the Fort Hood massacres.
The body of Army Specialist Fred Greene was returned to Mountain City over the weekend. Visitation is tonight from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Hux-Lipford-Teague Funeral Home.
And, tomorrow he will be buried in the cemetery at his home church in Butler.
Greene was assigned to the 16th Signal Company which was preparing for deployment.
