An Elizabethton woman has been arrested after an investigation at a local credit union.
Police say 38-year-old Lori Barb was an employee at the credit union when the investigation began in September.
Police found out Barb had obtained personal information from a customer at the credit union and used that information to get cash advances from the victim's account.
Further investigation revealed Barb had opened a second credit card account at another bank using the victim's information.
Barb has been charged with identity theft and forgery.
