Local Civic Club Raising Money for Autism Research

The Bristol Civitan Club is holding a quilt raffle.  It's one of the many projects the civitans do to raise money for their autism research center in Alabama.  It's a program that civitans across the country donate money to, hoping to find a cure for autism.

"Right now we're raising money on a quilt sale to go to autism research which is located our international civitan is located in Alabama and we're taking that money to try and help people who are autistic and it's very important in this area as well," said Greg Weaver, a Bristol Civitan Club member.

If you would like to donate to the Autism Research Center or buy a ticket for the quilt raffle call Fred at (423) 968-3064.
