Forest Fire Between Washington County, Virginia and Russell County
The U.S. Forest Service is fighting a forest fire between Washington County, Virginia and Russell County.
The fire broke out around 4:30 Saturday Morning. The Goodson Kinderhook Fire Department is also trying to put the flames out. Emergency Dispatchers say the fire is burning near Pennacle Road between Route 802 and the swinging bridge.
