Democrats don't have enough votes to conduct a Saturday session so a major vote on health care reform has been delayed in Washington.
Local republican Congressman Phil Roe says he won't support the bill. He says the proposed reform will create a new bureaucracy that would get directly between patients and their doctors.
On the democratic side, Congressman Rick Boucher has said that he favors the creation of a health care cooperative which would be owned and operated by its members and would compete with private insurers.
A vote could happen Sunday if democrats are able to gain enough support.
