Meth Lab Discovered in Sullivan County

A woman arrested today for failure to appear in court and driving on a revoked license could now be facing much more serious charges.

Sullivan County Sheriff's deputies say they discovered a meth lab at the home of Cynthia Baumgardner, 43, when they went to serve a warrant for the initial charges today.

Haz-mat crews were called in to clean up the home just off Deck Valley Road near Bristol, Tennessee.

Baumgardner was taken to the Sullivan County Correctional Facility. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
