Seasonal Flu Vaccine in Short Supply

Leaders at the Regional Health Department in Johnson City say vaccine makers are behind in making seasonal flu vaccine because they are focusing on H1N1 vaccine.

Health experts say there is still time for you to get the vaccine because the seasonal flu doesn't usually hit until December and January. They are encouraging people to get both vaccines.

"It doesn't matter which one you get first. I would say whichever one you find first go ahead and get it and then work on finding that second one," said Jamie Swift with the NETN Regional Health Department.

The health department says they're not sure when any more seasonal flu vaccine will be arriving there. They suggest you call around to find supplies.
