Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin said there's no problem with wide receiver Nu'Keese Richardson, even though the freshman missed practice this week.
Kiffin had said after Sunday's practice that he was dealing with an issue related to Richardson. On Tuesday he said it was a personal issue and had been taken care of.
Kiffin says Richardson is frustrated with the way his freshman season is going. The Pahokee, Fla., native was expected to have a big impact on the team immediately but has struggled with consistency in his roles as receiver, special-package quarterback and punt return specialist.
Kiffin says he sat down with Richardson on Monday and reassured him frustration is common for many freshmen and encouraged him to keep working hard.
