Parents Sentenced After Kids Found Covered in Lice and Roaches

The Unicoi County parents who were charged with child neglect when their five children were found covered in lice and roaches have been sentenced.  Angie Walker, 26, and Kevin Lee Walker, 50, will serve a year on probation.

The couple was arrested back in July after investigators say they found the children living in some of the worst conditions they've seen.  Investigators say most of the children were covered with roaches and they had their heads shaved because of severe lice sores.

The juvenile court will decide if the Walkers will get custody of their children again at a later date.
