Virginia Governor Candidates Schedule Changes.

Virginia's gubernatorial campaigns from both parties made stops in the region Saturday night.

Democratic candidate Creigh Deeds was scheduled to speak at a rally at John Battle High School in Bristol, but cancelled at the last minute.

The campaign cited a need to move on to other stops.

Congressman Rick Boucher and other campaign leaders did come out to show their support.

On the other side, Virginia Republicans also held a rally featuring party candidate Bob McDonnell's daughters, who are helping to campaign for their father at E.B. Stanley Middle School.

Reports show McDonnell with a sizeable lead over Deeds in the polls. McDonnell is scheduled to be in our area on Monday.

Voters will make their way to the polls on Tuesday.
