Study Says We're Using Less Water

ttaylor@wcyb.com

A new study by the U.S. Geological Survey shows people and industries alike are using less water.

In fact, water usage per person is lower now than in the 1950s. And, we're using less water than the peak year of 1975.

The survey credits water saving technologies and education for the cutback. 80%of our water use goes for power generation and farm irrigation.
