UPDATE: State Highway 81 South Has Re-opened



State Route 81 South in Washington County, Tennessee has re-opened.  The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the name of the victim, Carl Seaton of Greeneville.

A road is closed because of a deadly crash. Traffic is being re-routed in two counties. The accident happened on State Route 81 South in Washington County, Tennessee.

Authorities say a tractor trailer has overturned. The road closure affected traffic in Washington County, Tennessee and Unicoi County. Authorities believe the road should be re-opened within an hour.

Authorities say there have been reports of more traffic on this road since the rock slide shut down Interstate 40 earlier this week.
