WCYB Sports Director Jordan Conigliaro joined the News 5 Sports Team from WVVA-TV in Bluefield, West Virginia. A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Jordan is a graduate of Shippensburg University. While in college, Jordan worked for the University tv station and newspaper, and also interned for tv stations in Harrisburg and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In addition, he covered sports for the Carlisle Sentinel during his senior year at Shippensburg. After graduation, Jordan worked for WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for a year before joining WVVA-TV in Bluefield as a sports anchor and reporter. He joined the News 5 Sports Team in June, 2008. And, yes, baseball fans, Jordan is a member of that Conigliaro sports family--the former Red Sox outfielder, Tony Conigliaro, is a cousin.
