Account Manager position is responsible for generating multi-platform revenue from current advertisers and through development of new advertisers. Prior outside sales experience, preferably media, is required.
Attention to detail and the ability to work with multiple clients as well as various departments inside the station are vital to success of position. Business and marketing acumen is preferred as well as knowledge of computer software of Microsoft office and proprietary TV softwares
Strong work ethic is required. Account Manager is required to attain budget through outside sales and service of advertising accounts.

The successful candidate will work in our weather center, preparing forecasts and weather segments for our newscasts, and will also report two evenings during the week.
Previous television experience is required. Degree in meteorology and AMS Seal are preferred.
