Sidney Burns, YWCA event and executive administrator, says they are so humbled by everyone who took time to vote.
"It was absolutely a community effort," said Burns. "We are just so pleased that everyone decided to vote for us, and that we won."
Burns tells News Five that the money will go towards marketing and to fill other needs.
"We have several programs that currently operate at full capacity," said Burns. "So there is definitely some financial needs that the money can go towards."
