Baby given free flights for life

While on a flight from Saudi Arabia to India, a woman went into premature labor.

Crew members and a passenger, who was a trained nurse, helped the woman deliver her baby while flying at 35,000 feet.

After landing in the western city of Mumbai, the mother and child were taken to a hospital.

The airline confirmed with BBC that both baby and mom were healthy.

The private Indian airline thanked it’s crew and nurse, Mini Wilson, “the successful birth of the baby boy.”

Jet Airways tweeted a special Father’s Day post for the baby’s father. The card read, “I thank mom for her indomitable spirit and the Cabin Crew’s best efforts in helping me come into this world, and yes, I finally thank Jet Airways for giving me a lifetime of free travel. This means more travel is on the cards, more fun outings with you and mom, and more of exploring this beautiful world."
