A Scott County, Virginia woman is accused of leaving her sister's baby in a hot car.

Commonwealth's Attorney Marcus McClung says Amber Rae Seymore was taking care of her sister's four month old boy when she went to visit another sister and left the baby in the car.

The criminal complaint says the child was in the car between 20 to 30 minutes.  McClung says the child's temperature was 103 degrees after he was removed from the vehicle.  The child is expected to be okay.

Seymore is charged with abuse and neglect of a child with reckless disregard for life.
