During the 21st National Trails Days, park officials are asking for volunteers to help out on the Appalachian Trail.
Want to help out Mother Nature? You have the opportunity to work the trails in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on June 1.
It is the 21st National Trails Days and volunteers are needed to help out on the Appalachian Trail.
They ask that volunteers wear sturdy shoes, have plenty of water and bring a lunch.
At the end of the day, volunteers will be treated to a picnic and get a complimentary t-shirt. There is a registration fee of $25.
