A disoriented man in a car loaded with drugs and weapons found on the campus of Patrick Henry High School in Washington County, Virginia has been arrested and charged.
Sheriff Fred Newman said Devon Scott Coleman, 39, of Glade Spring, is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on school property; possession of a firearm on school property; possession of a firearm while in possession of methamphetamine; possession of a concealed weapon; and possession with attempt to distribute marijuana on school property.
School Resource Officer Deputy Cody Johnson was dispatched to the school and found Coleman inside the car acting disoriented.
Coleman was ordered out of the vehicle which the sheriff said contained marijuana, a large quantity of crystal meth, a .38 caliber pistol and a crossbow.
He is being held in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon without bond.
Students were not in any danger at the time of the search and subsequent arrest, Newman said.

Washington County, Virginia Sheriff Fred Newman confirms to News 5 that a male suspect was taken into custody just after 7 a.m. after being found on the campus of Patrick Henry High School in Glade Spring.
The sheriff noted more details about the arrest are forthcoming this afternoon.
