BRISTOL, Va. -

A series of fall public hearings on a six-year transportation improvement plan for Virginia will be in our region Tuesday.

The Virginia Department of Transportation, as well as representatives from the Commonwealth Transportation Board and other officials will be in Bristol to discuss transportation projects. Those projects include road, rail, bicycle, pedestrian and public transportation.

Tuesday's meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn on Linden Drive. Discussion begins at six o'clock and the public meeting will start at seven o'clock in the evening.
