WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. -

Powering up your e-cigarette in some public buildings in Washington County, Tennessee is no longer allowed.

County mayor Dan Eldridge tells News 5 that the commission voted to ban e-cigs and vapor products at any public buildings of Washington County.

He says they have received several complaints from employees and patrons.

Another reason for the ban is concern for employees and potential health risks.

The ban takes effect Tuesday.
