GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -

A seven year investigation is over and two women have been sentenced.

A judge sentenced 31-year-old Amber Coffey of Boone, North Carolina to more than 12 years in prison and 30-year-old Crystal Potter of Mountain City, Tennessee to nearly 4 years.

They are not eligible for parole.

Federal prosecutors say the two women were involved in a methamphetamine conspiracy.

Authorities say the two bought pseudoephedrine and other products needed to make meth and then sold it around the region.

A total of 20 people have been indicted as part of the same investigation.
