KINGSPORT, Tenn. -

Two men face charges in what police say is a drug-related conspiracy to commit murder.

Raymond Mims and Bradley Hirst are in the Kingsport jail. Police say Mims gave Hirst and another person $20,000 and told them to buy 50 pounds of marijuana in Houston, then bring it back to Kingsport.

Some time during the trip, Hirst and the other person separated. The other individual says he was robbed and came back to Kingsport without the cash.

Hirst and Mims are suspected of conspiring to kill the man, his wife and their 8-year-old child. They're both facing several charges, including conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
