KINGSPORT, Tenn. -

Two men are acused of being involved in a drug conspiracy to commit murder.

Raymond Mims and Bradley Hirst are in the Kingsport City Jail.

Kingsport police say Mims gave Hirst and another person $20,000 and told them to buy 50 pounds of marijuana in Houston, then bring it back to Kingsport.

Sometime during the trip, officers say Hirst and the other person separated.

The other individual told police he was robbed and came back to Kingsport without the cash.

Hirst and Mims are suspected of conspiring to kill the man, his wife and their 8-year-old child.

They're both facing several charges including Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder.
