SCOTT COUNTY, Va. -

Another bus accident Tuesday afternoon sent three people to the hospital.

According to Scott County Chief Deputy Jim Benton, the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. on the Bristol Highway in the Hiltons community.

Benton tells News 5 a car ran into the back of a school bus as it was unloading students. He says the driver of the car had to be cut out of the vehicle and was flown by air ambulance to the hospital.

Benton says two students had minor injuries and were taken to the hospital by their parents.

We have a crew at the scene and will have more information throughout the evening.
