Man charged in Kingsport CVS robbery

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Kingsport police arrested a suspect Monday afternoon following a weekend pharmacy robbery.

Authorities say the robber walked in to the pharmacy with his hands in his pockets, told the pharmacist he had a gun and demanded Oxycontin.

Detectives tell us that after video of the suspect aired, they got a tip that lead them to 50-year-old Curtis Cox of Kingsport. Officers arrested him at his job around lunchtime Monday.

He will be arraigned Tuesday morning.
