Armed robbery suspects still at large

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Kingsport Police are investigating all leads after two men robbed the Cash Express at gunpoint.

The crime happened Friday afternoon on West Stone Drive.

Officers say two men wearing red hooded sweatshirts came into the store and handcuffed one employee, and demanded cash from the other clerk at gunpoint.

After getting the money, police say the robbers stole an employee's car and took off. "In this case, it was obviously planned, right down to the uniforms they wore. They actually dressed alike. They obviously came on foot but had an idea of how they were going to leave," says Tom Patton with the Kingsport Police Department.

Officers later found the stolen car in Church Hill.
