Police: One hurt in shooting outside Johnson City bar

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - UPDATE 12:05 p.m.: Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Johnson City.

The shooting happened around 11:30 Thursday night at the Downtown Square parking lot.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found Dustin Gibson shot. Police say Gibson and another man got into a fight, and then shots were fired.

Gibson is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Johnson City Police are investigating a late Thursday night shooting.

Dispatchers tell News 5, it happened outside Numan's bar in downtown around 11:30. We're told one person was shot. Johnson City Captain Matt Howell told us that person was in stable condition Friday morning.

Howell also says there is no suspect at this time.
