Early morning fire destroys mobile home

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. - A fire destroyed a mobile home in the Bloomingdale area early Sunday morning.

The Sullivan County 911 tells news 5 the fire happened inside a mobile home park on 214 Fontana Street around 2:30 a.m.

We spoke with neighbors who tell us the man who lived in the trailer escaped with minor injuries.

The victim's next door-neighbor tells us the fire woke him up.

"I got up and looked out the window and the trailer was a blaze and on fire and I had my girlfriend to call 911. When the fire department came the trailer was engulfed in flames. It was pretty much gone," said Robert Condry, neighbor.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
