High-speed rides around the BMS track for charity

BRISTOL, Tenn. - Do you ever wonder what it would be like to race around the track at Bristol Motor Speedway? Friday night you can take that chance with a high speed ride-along in a retired race car.

Buck Baker's Seat Time Racing School is offering the intense rides. The cars have a passenger seat installed.

For $150, a driver will take you four times around the track, not including the warm up and cool down. Speeds reach from 85-miles around the turns to 110-miles through the stretch.

To make the ride feel even better, all proceeds go to Speedway Children's Charities.

Organizers say it's an experience you shouldn't pass up.

"It's just a real special experience to get in that passenger seat and be driven around the racetrack by a professional race car driver. If you've never experienced it before it's not like anything you've ever done," said driving instructor Walt Young.

You can find more information and reserve a ride at the Seat-Time American Driving School website.
