A local lawmaker is hoping to loosen Tennessee’s gun carry laws, State Representative Micah Van Huss just introduced a bill to eliminate the need for a permit to open carry a handgun.
Many relished the opportunity to help such an important cause in honor of the great civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
According to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, 1,037 people died on Tennessee roads last year. In Virginia, 962 people were killed, six more than the year before.
