BRISTOL, Tenn. -

Speedway in Lights is now open from Friday through January 5, 2014.

The holiday spectacle opened to rave reviews Friday night at Bristol Motor Speedway.

All proceeds go to local children's charities.

Not only do visitors get to drive around the track, checking out the more than two million lights in all the displays, there's also a Christmas Village with fun for the whole family. The village can be found in the infield and includes rides, food and craft vendors and so much more.

The HVAC Chill Hill is also a popular attraction, along with the Johnson Controls Ice Rink.

"It's really fun because they do it every year...inside the Speedway is always different and it's fun to be with your friends and it just shares the Christmas spirit," said James Lovelace of Bristol, Tennessee.

Tickets for the show, which is open nightly from 6 to 10 p.m., are available at the BMS gate.

Ticket prices for cars are $12 Sunday through Thursday, and $15 Friday and Saturday.

Activity van tickets are $20 each night and tickets for buses are $85 each night.

Both the Johnson Controls Ice Rink ($7 admission/skate rental) and HVAC Chill Hill ($7) opened Thursday, Nov. 15.
