Son indicted in parents' murder case
Murder happened 2009 at Pizza Plus
A Virginia man accused of killing his parents in 2009 is facing capital murder charges.
The November session of the Tazewell County grand jury indicted 32-year-old Christopher Dean Looney of Belfast.
Looney is charged with capital murder-robbery and capital murder-multiple victims.
The bodies of Looney's father, 52-year-old Harvey Looney, and his mother, 48-year-old Valerie Looney, were found at their Pizza Plus restaurant in Claypool Hill in late March 2009.
Looney was arrested Feb. 14. He is being held at the Southwest Regional Jail in Tazewell.
