BRISTOL, Tenn. - Bass Pro Shops is seeking full-time and part-time applicants for its soon-to-be-opened Outdoor World store.
A job fair will be held Monday, June 2 through Wednesday, June 4, for the new Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World store opening in August 2014 in Bristol, Tennessee.
Those interested in employment with the Bass Pro Shops Bristol store need to apply in person at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Bristol Convention Center, 3005 Linen Drive, in Bristol, Virginia from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. You must be 18 years old to apply.
Applications will be accepted for 200 to 250 full-time and part-time positions in the following departments: fishing, camping, hunting, archery, footwear, apparel/gifts, marine accessories, receiving and customer service. Bass Pro Shops also will be employing cashiers, greeters, stockers, marine technicians, boat riggers, boat detailers and boat sales consultants.
In addition, restaurant applications will be taken for servers, hosts/hostesses, bussers, bartenders, dishwashers, line cooks and prep for the Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill.
This nautical-themed feature, located within the Bristol Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World store, offers a unique atmosphere and design. Geared for family fun, Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill features a 12-lane bowling alley, casual dining and a private room perfect for birthday parties or small family gatherings. A special Evening for Conservation to help benefit area conservation groups will take place the night before the official grand opening.
