Members of the church damaged by a Church Hill woman police say drove into it say they're moving on.
We spoke with Providence Church Pastor Joel Trigg, who tells us they've been in contact with the insurance company. He tells us the church service planned for Wednesday night will go on as planned.
Trigg says they've cleaned up what they can inside, boarded up the doors, and have built a temporary wall to keep everyone away from the damage.
He said Wednesday that church members will reflect on what happened, and pray for Hamman and her husband. "We need to put emphasis on praying for and reaching out to families in our community that are in some type of crisis, so they have a place that they can come to, talk about it, and find some help for that," he said.
Trigg tells us they have not received an estimate for the damage yet, but they are hoping to in the next few days. He says once they get that, they will be able to start the repairs.
