Unless Congress acts by March 1, $85 billion in massive spending cuts will kick in automatically. Two million federal workers face furloughs, and one way or another, the impact may be felt by most Americans.

A man presented a marriage certificate to visit someone in a detention center but police say he's now facing charges because the certificate was fake.
