A non-working brake light led to a police chase and a driver facing charges.
A Sullivan County sheriff's deputy tried to stop a Ford Fiesta on Fort Henry Drive to notify the driver of a broken light. As the deputy got out of the patrol car, the driver sped off.
He eventually turning on to Cedar Branch Road, where he lost control and crashed into a field; however, he kept going until crashing again, this time flipping the vehicle.
Deputies say the suspect got out of the vehicle and ran away, but they were able to catch and arrest him.
He's identified as 22-year-old Charles White. He's charged with reckless endangerment, as well as drug possession, after officers say they found a small amount of marijuana in the crashed car.
