KINGSPORT, Tenn. -

The search continues for a man Kingsport police said robbed a local pharmacy at gunpoint.

Officers said it happened just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday night.

According to police, the suspect walked in to Berry's Pharmacy on Fort Henry drive.

Officers said he was holding a weapon at the time of the robbery. "He brandished a pistol. It was a large-frame, blue/black semi-automatic weapon pistol. He pointed it at the employees and demanded pills," said Tom Patton, with the Kingsport Police Department.

Police said the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of medication.
