JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -

Two people in Johnson City face felony drug charges after vice investigators find methamphetamine during a search.

The Johnson City Police Department said they arrested Scot Pridemore and Cynthia Munsey following a search of Pridemore's house on East Unaka Avenue on Friday. Police said the search turned up meth and components to make meth.

Police said both Pridemore and Munsey have been charged with promotion of meth manufacture, initiation of the meth manufacture process, felony possession of meth and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia. Police said they also charged Pridemore with maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are kept or sold.

Officers from the Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force and the DEA Task Force were involved in the arrest.

Pridemore and Munsey are being held in the Washington County Detention Center  and are expected in court on Monday, December 9th.
