Some kids are getting ready to head back to school and some school systems are helping kids get the supplies they need.
Saturday was the second annual Back-to-school Bash at the Mountain States Health Alliance Mini-Dome on East Tennessee State University's campus. Washington County, Tennessee and Johnson City Schools partnered with area businesses to give students bags full of supplies they need to start the school year.
Parents were also able to get information on nutrition and other things going on throughout the school year.

Organizers tell us they planned for more than 1,500 children this year.
